User roles of employees are stored in the user role list in the Tillypad XL system and are used when describing access rights for users.

After you install Tillypad XL Manager , you fill find details of one user role, Supervisor, entered by the developer. Access settings customized for this user role allow the user to have a full access to the system data. Therefore, we recommend using this virtual user role for initial system access configuration.

Access rights of each user depend on his or her user role. According to access settings configured for the user role, he or she will have privileges to run certain operations on specified system objects. The list of available and unavailable operations is stored in the employee privilege, аnd the list of objects that can be subject to operation is defined by security levels.
