The release 9.0 has an updated interface. Changes were introduced to directories; certain system, setting and application mechanisms have been created or edited. A new licensing system is applied. A new system installer was created.
A new licensing system was created.
The licence determines one or more functionalities (managing the front office, managing the back office, managing the store documents, managing the reports, development). Each workplace needs to be licensed. For POS terminals, the licence is specified in the device parameters, whereas for Tillypad XL Manager, the used licences are entered in the directory.
The global licences are checked via the license server, while the local ones are checked by the segment controller and are added to the segment window using the licence package.
The cumulative payment option is now enabled. In this mode, order items are matched with prepaid credits of the same value. It is used when working with prepayments.

Payment menu items were introduced (a new class of menu items, Prepaid credits, was added). Guest tabs now have purses. When a menu item of this class is added to a guest tab, the appropriate amount of money will be deposited to the guest tab purse. In this case the cumulative payment is required: the remaining menu items in the order are assigned to a payment menu item (prepaid credit) for their total amount, and bills will contain only payment menu items (prepaid credits).
The division, in which you can make a cumulative payment, is assigned a payment menu item that will be used when carrying out this payment. You also need to specify the prepayment conditions: whether the unused credits will be refunded to the client or not. If you want to set up nonrefundable credits, you also need to configure a menu item in this division to take account of this nonrefundable balance.
Guest tabs display payment items separately. For this purpose, the Prepaid credits specification panel was added.
Commands in the context menu that enable sending guest tabs for payment with and without closing them were renamed:
and .Context menu commands and buttons that enable sending guest tabs for payment in the mode were changed. Rules for displaying them were stipulated.
Total amounts in the guest tab
Guest tab now displays the amounts of entered specification items and the prepayment amounts, as well as the amount of client's or company's debt.
On the seating layout the balance on the guest tab and on the bill is displayed for a table if the guest tab total and the bill total are of the same sign (both positive for payment or both negative for refund). Otherwise, the total for this table will not be displayed on the seating layout.
Total amounts on the payment screen
The payment screen now displays the payment, refund, and total amount. Different font colours are set up for displaying total amounts: the negative amounts are highlighted with red colour.
Total amount in the bill and the guest tab windows
The bill and the guest tab window displays Total instead of To pay.
Order date is not checked any more for falling within the date range of the guest tab. The guest tab has a new status, In preparation (for banquet prepayment).
Payment refund rules are set up for POS terminals. Payment refunds are carried out using a purchase operation.
The sales system calculates prices and costs with VAT.
The directory was added. VAT rates in menu item windows, order item windows, etc. are selected from this directory.
VAT is taken into account in order specification, in prepaid credits specification of a guest tab, in bills and receipts, in promotion formulas, and in fiscal registrations.
In prepaid credits specification the order payment items are grouped by VAT rates according to the VAT rates of the ordered dishes.
Discount settings directories were renamed.
The

The Comment group of fields was added to the sales parameter window. These parameters determine whether the comment field on a menu item should be included in the order or not.
Modifiers were moved to the menu, the inheritance mechanism was created.
Modifiers directory was removed, all modifiers were moved to the directory (all draft modifiers were moved to the Draft menu directory).
Menu group shortcuts and menu item shortcuts were excluded from the menu and draft menu. Inherited items and menu groups play their role.
Security level inheritance mechanism was created. It simplifies access settings. All items have a security level. By default they inherit the security level from system settings.
The report print layout displays the phrase All time if the entire date range was selected.
The objects in the Required. It allows you to add objects to the package that will be imported to the database in any case, which is very important when you install the system.
directory now have a new attribute,The Import from file operation is added, it can be called from the Concurrence menu. Rules on how to import objects from file were stipulated.
In the Currency precision field was renamed Rounding precision (cost price). The following required fields were added: Rounding precision (sales), Promotion rounding mode, and Multiple languages for data.

The
menu was removed from the context menu of the directories, and subscription implementation data was removed from the data grid. You can now manage subscriptions only in the directory. Filter classes for objects were eliminated. Subscription to replication of basic objects can only be done automatically. You can carry out a manual subscription only for objects within a date range.You can now view ID application: search the ID owner by his or her ID and view a list of guest tabs created by using this ID.
New types of software modules were added. The Port gateway
software module was excluded from the list of software modules, the ATOL fiscal register
and the Shtrikh FR software modules were updated
. Changes were made to the parameters of the
IP camera
module.
Customer display formats were moved to an individual panel on the POS terminal device window. The fields of the Print formats panel were renamed.
A filter by location and date range was added to the
log.In the
directory you can now add tables from other divisions to the seating layout.You cannot change the number or the name of the document for a store document specification item.
For the current state of the guest tab the system displays Live video instead of the operation time.
The list of privileges was edited in the employee privilege specification.
Rounding precision was set up.
The Cost price calculation interval field was excluded from the window.
In the stock item window stock item units of measurement were synchronized.
New data grid columns were added.
The division has new fields where you can specify menu items to be added to the guest tab as tips and service charge.
The Tillypad XL Manager interface was updated.
All options in the main menu now have the same structure: Directories, Settings directories, and Operational reports were joined into separate menu groups, the sequence of these groups was established, new menu options and a horizontal scroll bar were added.
A status bar was added to the program, it displays information about the segment, the user, the licence, and the current date.
New icons were created for all Tillypad XL applications. New icons were added to illustrate directory contents; icons to minimize and maximize windows were edited.
Changes were made to the operation procedure with anchor windows.
The System tag was added to elements in all tables that can be exported and imported.
New keyboard shortcuts were added to the Favourites, to the Select date range filter step, to the windows, and data grids.
Elements inheritance, Create based on command
Elements can now inherit from other elements (for example, it is true for menu items and menu groups). The
command was added to the context menu of these directories.The log in window was changed, the Additional panel is now hidden by default. The logout fields were edited. The minimum shutdown time is enabled.
User passwords are stored in the database in encrypted form.
Clipboard in context menus. Operating Windows clipboard
The Tillypad XL Manager can now operate with the Windows clipboard.

Changes were made to steps of the filter wizard for data grids with groupings.
Rules of highlighting the window values with colour were laid down.
The rules of autonumbering the documents were changed, the manual number input has higher priority now.
Change log. Additional button menu
The change log now displays a multilevel specification. You can open the log from the window by using the Additional button context menu. The log displays the relevant date of changes for this segment.
Index legend for the grid panel
The sequence order in the grid panel list was changed: No, Yes.
Field names with abbreviations
Field names with abbreviations were changed in the document lists.
Generation of names for new employees and regular customers using their personal profiles
When you select a personal profile of an employee or a regular customer, their names are generated automatically in the employee and regular customer windows.
The Tillypad XL POS interface was updated
A new interface was created for Tillypad XL POS inspired by the Tillypad XL Manager interface. Icons in the Tillypad XL POS application were added and updated.
The POS filter steps window appearance is now uniform.
Typography setting parameters for POS terminals were enhanced for different screens.
Order item colouring on POS terminals
Items from orders, that have a different status, are highlighted on the sales screen with different colours.
Screen buttons, button function settings
It is made possible to assign functions to the button or to remove this button from the screen. If more than one function is assigned to the button, the user can select a suitable option from the menu, which is displayed when the user shuts down the POS terminal.

The Menu settings panel is added to the device window for POS that enables you to make necessary settings for the root and source menu groups. These groups can be accessed using the navigation buttons in the POS terminal menu.
Modes for displaying selection buttons in the POS menu were added for menu items and menu groups excluded from sale (the buttons can be either hidden or disabled).
The Functions button context menu was added. The Close menu command is always in this menu even if all functions are disabled. In this case the context menu displays the command.
The Visual properties panel was added. You can now edit the name, colour, and size of the screen form button. You can now assign the report selection functions to the buttons.
The on-screen QWERTY keyboard was added to enable the user to enter text data. (comments in guest tabs, etc.).
The internal logic of printing was revised; changes were made to the printing system:
Uniform printing rules were laid down for different terminal operating modes: uniform messages about missing print formats and about the printer in use;
Order tickets can now be applied to the print format of readiness tickets;
Stock movement records can now be made available on a POS terminal;
Parameters of POS operation were added or changed related to the following operations:
fields visibility conditions: comment on the menu item in the orders and on the dish course item;
copying the collation report from the previous stocktaking record to a new one;
printing bills on command from the list of bills menu and from the payment screen;
moving to the bill editor or guest tab editor on a mouse click (without command menu);
splitting guest tabs by volume.

Change your own password on the POS terminal
You can now change your own password on the POS terminal. The
command is opened from the main menu of the POS (on any run screen).You can now record the working time of an employee on the POS terminal when opening and closing the work shifts. The Working time records command is opened from the main menu of the POS (on any run screen).
Parameters to open a cash drawer
The parameters to open a cash drawer for file fiscal registers were added.
Language applicationLanguage usage rule was added to the user package to resolve situations when the support for multiple languages is disabled.
Prohibition on managing guest tabs of a closed business the day
On the POS terminal, you can only work with guest tabs that belong to an open business day.
The
screen header displays the seating layout alongside with the name of this seating layout.On the seating layout, each bill has a context menu. Employees can view bills regardless of their access rights.
